How it work ? Once details are received of any dogs stolen they will be posted on this section of the website and an immediate alert sent out to everyone on our mailing list in the form of an email.

How you can help prevent dog thefts ? The more information available and the quicker it's distributed then the more likely dogs are to be found. The greater the risk of their being caught, then the more likely this riffraff are to concentrate their efforts elsewhere. We can all help ourselves and each other in several ways.

  • If you've not already done so, then please sign up to our mailing list on the home page. You won't receive any frivolous emails, but you will receive immediate notification should any thefts occur.
  • Make sure everyone else is aware of this service, the more people that know and sign up, then the more effective it will be.
  • Make sure you have good quality photographs of all your terriers, some day you may need them.
  • Be sure to also post your stolen dog(s) on on the "Dog Lost" website. They do an incredible job and their website is regularly visited by most local authority dog wardens, as well as by their own network of helpers. You'll find the "Dog Lost" website by clicking here.

Any information received will be treated with the strictest of confidence with regard to the source. And while libel laws may in certain circumstances prevent us naming individuals publicly, such information may well assist in narrowing down the search to specific areas of the country. Remember it could be your dogs next !!!
